Engineering News: 1-/2-Axis Tilt Measuring System The described 1-/2-axis tilt measuring system allows an exact inclination measurement of objects in x axis (NM1) or in x-and y-axis (NM2). The measuring range of the tilt measuring system can lay according to implementation in the range from ± 3 ° up to ± 45 °. The built-in inclinometer works after a new, capacitive measuring procedure which distinguishes itself by a high exactness. For further evaluation are standard analogue outputs available. The tilt measuring system is inserted in a robust EMC-die cast aluminum enclosure (IP65), which is suited for the application in rough and industrial surroundings.

Joystick with ATEX approved components Feteris Components are able to offer an industrial/marine joystick complete with ATEX approved potentiometers and switches. The joystick is based on the standard 50JA series of 50mm joysticks which can be supplied to IP65 environmental rating. The inclusion of the ATEX components, offers the level of certification to ATEX 1005/1033 for switches and ATEX 1026 for the potentiometers (Ex 2G EExd IIC). Single, dual or 3 axes are available with push button and trigger switches.

Due to the lack of mechanical or optical interaction to detect ball movement the NEW INDUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY is completely unaffected by the introduction of exterior contamination such as high opacity liquids, dust, gels etc. and will even work when completely full of sand.
