Feteris Components supplies an extensive line of vibration monitoring sensors and monitoring instruments that provide machinery condition information. Feteris Components 4-20 mA series of Loop Powered Sensors (LPSTM) and transmitters makes machine health monitoring a convenient, reliable and cost-effective option for a wide array of plant assets. The LPS Series outputs a 4-20mA signal that correlates directly to the average vibration of the machine being monitored. This provides a simple means to trend the relative level of vibration, drive your maintenance strategy as needed for a cost-effective operation and prevent machine failures before they occur.

LPS Vibration Sensors

Vibration Transmitters – Our New iT Series
Feteris Components now offers the Intelligent Transmitter – our iT Series – signal conditioning modules that accept input from traditional dynamic vibration sensors (velocity or acceleration) and convert the signal to 4-20 mA output. In addition, the units make dynamic data available for more extensive analysis. This provides an extremely cost effective means to monitor machine health by direct interface into an existing PLC or DCS network.

The units are DIN Rail mounted and operate from a 24 VDC power supply. All units are configured as ordered with a custom range of low and high pass filters to provide a better fit for your specific application. Furthermore, these filter settings can be modified in the field to address your changing needs.
iT Series Alarm

The new iT Alarm is is the most accurate and powerful relay alarm of its kind. The iT Alarm can be used in conjunction with the iT Transmitter or any 4-20 mA sensor (including level, flow, pressure, temperature, force and speed) to provide local notification of potential problems. The alarm allows up to three set points for relay control with user established delays for minimizing false alarms. An alert will register to warn that excessive vibrations indicate that there may be a problem; and an alarm will signal extreme vibrations that may point toward a significant operating concern requiring machine shutdown. A front-panel LED readout displays real time 4-20mA signal level. |
The iT Alarm module attaches to the DIN Rail and will automatically engage with the iT transmitter to obtain all data and power necessary with no external wiring.
iT Series Communication Module
Why use Predictive Maintenance?
The iT Communication Module accepts inputs from the iT Transmitter to provide a link directly to a computer via a standard RS232 serial interface. The digital data stream can be imported into any standard spreadsheet or data logging program, or you can use our iT Series software to monitor and/or log all conditions right on your PC or Laptop. The iT Comms Mod plugs into the DIN rail next to the iT Transmitter, eliminating any need for external connection between units.
