Die Eigenschaften von Reifen sind von zentraler Bedeutung für Sicherheit, Fahrverhaltenund Komfort moderner Automobile. 100% Prüfungen der Reifen in der Produktion sichert eine kostant hohe Qualität. 2D Profilsensoren vom Typ scanCONTROL erfassen an den schwarzen Gummi-Oberflächen eines Reifens Beulen, Einchnürungen, Senken und die Unwucht. Die Messung erfolgt nicht punktförmig, sondern entlang einer Laserlinie, auf der viele Punkte erfasst werden. Die komplette Vermessungszeit eines Reifens liegt dabei unter 1 Sekunde.

To obtain accurate data on the deformation of brake disc friction rings under stress, they must be measured under extreme conditions. The following demands are therefore made on the measuring system: High bandwidth for frequency analyses up to the 10th harmonic. High accuracy minimum zero shift with change in temperature, no change in measuring signal due to temperature-related changes in magnetic and conductive properties. High resolution because deformation takes place in the range < 100 µm.

In order to ensure perfect functioning of the disk drives the drive units are measured and evaluated with respect to diameter, true running, and axial running. Since production tolerances of < 5 µm have to be measured under nominal speed, a decision has been made to use the fast and high-resolution capaNCDT system. In this measurement two sensors that are adapted to the flange geometry are of special im-portance.
