Planeness measurement of display glass

Thinnest glass of outstanding planeness is required for the production of displays for telecommunications equipment. The results of these measurements can be used for optimising the production process. On a high-precision hard rock table in the measuring room samples of these thinnest glass plates are measured by laser-optical triangulation sensors with µm accuracy. A PC software processes and analyses the measurement data, and calculates the planeness values.

Vacuum integrity of cans, jars, and bottles
After preserving jars are filled and closed they must be vacuum-tested in fully automatic operation to immediately sort out any defective containers. An eddy-current sensor scans the cap shape that is generated by the vacuum in a non-contacting way. The subsequent electronic unit calculates cap bending, which directly depends on the internal pressure.
