| Feteris Components accelerometers are extremely sensitive sensors that measure acceleration with virtually infinite resolution. Most designs are rugged enough to withstand severe shock and vibration -- while others include additional ruggedness to make them "all weather" instruments.
The units are fully self-contained. They connect to a DC power source and a readout or control device for a complete operating system. The output is a high-level DC signal proportional to the applied acceleration. They respond to changes in acceleration as small as 1mG. Hysteresis less than 0.0005% of full range output and vibration rectification less than 5mg/g2 are available.
